This version of the sectional door, folded to the side, is structurally identical to its “upper” counterpart – however, the panels are arranged vertically here, and the guides are placed at the top and bottom of the door leaf, and the door itself, when opened, does not disappear under the garage ceiling, but on its side wall. A side sectional door is a great alternative to an ordinary sectional door, if, for example, for architectural reasons (roof slope, other installations), the door cannot be folded under the ceiling. Therefore, it’s perfect for garages with low lintel. It’s also a great solution for garages, where the gate is the only way in and out of the garage. For example, if we want to quickly get out a bicycle or a motorcycle, we don’t have to wait for the gate to open completely – we have access to the inside after just a few seconds.
